Why do I talk to my cat Scrappy as if she’s a person?  

Honestly, the answer is because I think she has way more in her furry, little noggin than others would have us believe.  In fact, right now she is climbing all over my exercise bike trying to get my attention (Feed Me NOW!)  She has something she wants and she is trying all of this negative attention to try to get it.  (Sound familiar?)

In Praise of Libraries 

I have a confession to make…before I “became” Nina Music and started performing my “Sing, Sign, Dance” show in libraries, I never really gave libraries much thought.  I didn’t use them as a place of resource or guide for new materials; I just drove by my local library and thought it looked pretty.

Tuesday is post day for my new blog 

I am so excited about my new Blog! I’m really looking forward to discussing some of the things that I love about being a musician and some of the things that I find challenging.

I’m also going to take opportunity to talk about the creative process, and I look forward sharing the stories behind the songs and the production of the CD.  I’ll have a lot to say, I’m sure. I’ll probably have to reign myself in because I really enjoy writing.

New website, new CD—and more 

As you may have noticed, we have a new website!! (Yay!!)  …and we have a NEW CD (Yay, Yay, Yay!!!)  The new CD “M-U-S-I-C” and the new website share a lot of the same colors. And in our new design, Scrappy has even grown up – well, she’s a tweener now! Have you noticed that Scrappy is saying “I LOVE YOU” in sign language?
